Invisalign – Athens, GA

Choose the Clear Choice in Orthodontics

Are you embarrassed by crooked, gapped, or misaligned teeth? You can invest in a nearly invisible solution to get a straight smile. Dr. Patrick is excited to offer Invisalign as one of his many cosmetic services. As an Invisalign dentist, he provides patients with sophisticated alternative to traditional braces. Instead of using metal brackets and wires, Invisalign uses clear trays worn over your teeth. They are transparent, so most people will never know you’re wearing them. You’ll enjoy a less restrictive and convenient solution to get the straight smile you’ve always wanted.

What are the Benefits of Invisalign?

Invisalign doesn’t rely on brackets and wires to move your teeth. Instead, clear removable aligners are worn over your teeth. They apply continual pressure to gradually move your teeth into their ideal positions. This method offers several advantages not possible with traditional treatments, including:

  • Nearly invisible solution.
  • Can whiten your teeth while wearing them.
  • Smooth aligners to prevent irritation to the inside of the lips and cheek.
  • Custom-fit to speak clearly.
  • Removable to enjoy your favorite foods.
  • Easy care and maintenance.
  • Don’t require appointments for adjustments.
  • Results in as few as 12 months.

What is the Process of Invisalign?

Invisalign is effective for correcting several bite and alignment issues; however, you will still need an initial consultation to ensure it’s right for you. If you’re a candidate, advanced technology is used to take impressions of your mouth. State-of-the-art software maps the movement of your teeth and fabricates the information to a series of aligners.

You’ll wear the aligners for at least 22 hours per day, only taking them out when eating, drinking, and performing your oral hygiene routine. You’ll wear each aligner for 1-2 weeks before switching to the next. Every few weeks, you’ll need an appointment, so we can monitor the movement of your teeth. On average, it takes about 12 months to finish the series.

Am I a Good Candidate for Invisalign?

If you have bite and alignment concerns, you might be a candidate for Invisalign if you’re looking for a less noticeable treatment than metal braces. You must be self-disciplined to commit to wearing the aligners correctly and maintaining your oral hygiene. To ensure there aren’t any unnecessary delays, it’s essential you follow your treatment plan.

What is the Cost of Invisalign?

There isn’t a set fee for Invisalign because the cost is determined by several factors, like the severity of your alignment concerns. We’ll provide you with an estimate during your initial consultation and explain the costs associated with your treatment plan.

Many insurance carriers will cover a portion of the fee. We will work on your behalf with your dental insurance to reduce the amount you need to pay out-of-pocket. We accept several payment options for any remaining balance, like third-party financing with CareCredit.
